Well, in all honesty, there's not much to report. At least I don't think there is... I just got back from the surgeon's office, no new answers. I had a CT scan yesterday for all this stomach pain I've been having, but I feel like we might not learn a whole lot from that either. Mostly, I think I've decided that my digestive system just needs a break; so I'm going to be very nice to it and hopefully it will decide that it's ready to make peace. And the surgeon agrees that this might be an excellent choice for the time being--just taking no action. (Although my mom came up with another theory--that I may be allergic to gluten?)
In other news, most of my homework for tomorrow is done, although I do need to start working on my research paper. Actually, I should probably head over to the library and check out some books right now because I feel like I'm probably not going to do it later. It's going to be a busy next few weeks--I've got a couple of papers to write, grades to bring up, German verbs to memorize, RA orientations to attend, work to do... and a room to keep clean. And how could I forget? Class registration.
On Sunday, I think a few girls from my dorm are going to come to my mom's house for Cees Debedar (sp?). That should be fun. O! And I received a postcard from Portugal yesterday from my dear friend Alyssa! It was quite exciting--I've never received a postcard from Portugal before.
The weather was quite nice yesterday, and it is quite nice again today. I love the sunshine. All right, I think that's enough for now. I might take a bit of a nap before going to Individual Fitness in a little bit. And how could I forget?! On Tuesday night, Cary came to campus for dinner, and then Cary, David and I went and saw 300, which was amazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys epic-action movies. Then last night, Cary came to campus for dinner again, and we went and got pizza (mine cheeseless, of course).
More soon, when I have something more interesting to write or remember... :-) Ari
